Anbeta Toromani
Anbeta was born in Tirana, Albania on April 2nd 1979.
She began practicing artistic gymnastics when she was five years old, but she was forced to renounce her dream of becoming a gymnast after an accident, so she opted for classical dance.
In a few months, what originally seemed like a second rate solution was revealed to be the greatest passion of her life.
Anbeta’s love for classical dance was so strong that she achieved the highest of prizes in her own country, becoming the principal ballerina of the Opera Theatre in Tirana.
In 2003 she was invited to Italy to participate in the famous television program “AMICI”.
The program, broadcasted daily on Canale 5, is set in a dancing school where the disciplines of Dance, Singing and Acting are taught.
Anbeta immediately asserted herself in Classical Dance and the following year she became a protagonist of the television program as a professional ballerina, a position she still maintains today.
